New Distance Learning Courses — Summer 2008
The following courses are new Distance Learning classes offered for the first time. For a complete listing of all DL classes, visit the ACC Course Schedule. Each DL course listing provides instructor contact information and office hours, the course website URL (if applicable), space availability and enrollment limits for the section, instructions for completing the mandatory DL Course Orientation, and other important information students may need prior to registration.
ETWR 2477 — Documentation Process and Content Management
Allows students to work in teams and—using unformatted text—take a documentation project from competitive proposal straight through to completion, moving through important phases such as team building, initial proposal, documentation plan, scheduling, prototypes, style guide, drafts, edits, peer reviews, revisions, and final deliverables. Dividing into typical roles such as coordinator, writers, editors, and graphics specialists, the teams use content-management and document-control software to track and manage their projects. Prerequisites: Strong writing and computer skills.

RELE 1325 — Real Estate Mathematics
Assists students of real estate to become comfortable and proficient with a variety of mathematical calculations. As a real estate professional, an individual will learn how to compute taxes, volume and area, interest, appraisal methods, expenses, income, and many other figures that are part of real estate transactions.
