Instructional
Uses (Credit)
Instructional
uses of the IVC rooms take priority over all other uses of the rooms.
The priority
ranking for IVC rooms is as follows:
- IVC
classes using video conferencing. IVC classes are scheduled on a semester
basis with appropriate administrative processes completed in a timely
fashion.
- Technology
classes not using video conferencing. (i.e. prospective IVC
classes, technology intensive classes, etc.)
- Non-Technology based
Classes (non-interactive) . Room
Reservation requests go to Multimedia Support for processing
and scheduling. Any
additions, changes, or deletes to IVC instructional classes must be
done through Multimedia Support.
For additional questions, contact Multimedia Support at: 223-8083
or by email at: pjohnso3@austincc.edu .
Non-Instructional
Uses (Meetings, Events, etc.)
Interactive
Video Classrooms are also used for non-instructional purposes such as:
workshops, meetings, events, and seminars.
The priorities for non-instructional IVC use are the following:
- Non-instructional ACC
faculty and staff training events using video conferencing. (i.e. workshops, teleconferences, seminars, meetings,
presentations, interviews, etc.). Note: These events require at least
a one week advance notice when scheduling the appropriate IVC.
- Non-instructional training events not using video conferencing. These activities include meetings, seminars and events NOT using video conferencing
- IVC Maintenance activities.
